The book Confrarias de Portugal results from an intensive work by the photographer Marisa Cardoso and the journalist Ana Catarina André who documented this associative movement focused on portuguese gastronomy and their cultural traditions.
The book contains 478 images and combines the stories of 56 gastronomic brotherhoods from all over Portugal, including the Azores Island.
From north to south and through the inland we travelled 13217 km. The 250 pages book capture the most authentic products and recipes in their traditional places but also on the heritage and the landscapes that caracterize and distinguish each region.
